Is this my favourite Glossybox I’ve received content wise? maybe not. But is it my favourite packaging wise, YES! When I saw this month’s box I was so excited to get mine!! For reference, I do keep a few of my boxes as storage, they’re great for stacking and putting things away in.
The spoiler from last month’s box was the Symbiosis Overnight Rejuvenating Eye Serum which retails for £104. The price of this shocked me and I’m yet to try it out as I’m trying to finish my other eye creams/serums that are already open however I looked this up and found some decent reviews so I’m excited to give it a go.
The next product literally had me so excited! It’s the Nailberry L’Oxygene breathable nail polish in the shade strawberry jam. I’m actually obsessed with this shade as it’s the perfect balance between pink and red. The Nailberry polishes claim to be “halal” meaning they allow water to pass through when applied so when ablution takes place it doesn’t make it void. I am a still skeptical of this claim and I personally don’t want to take this risk with my religion but it’s still a pretty polish nevertheless and will still get used! This Nailberry nail polish retails for £14.50 so I was very pleased when I saw this in my box!
As always I’m obsessed with face masks, hair masks and eye masks. I can’t never get enough of them and ALWAYS use them up so it’s no surprise that I was more than happy to receive the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold eye masks. The single pair retails for £4 but the intense hydration they gave to my eyes was incredible. I may need to stock up on more of these…
Instead of the Sportfx sponge that i saw most people receive in their boxes I ended up with a substitute. The Sportfx Body Build Dry Shampoo. I’m not a big fan of dry shampoo and rather not use it so this will be going to a new home. It retails for £2.99 which isn’t bad but just not for me personally.
Talking of a product that I’m not that excited about is the Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Lotion. This retails for £1.99 and I know so many people that love Palmers but sadly I’m not one of those people. I find the smell to be very overpowering for me and it lingers which gives me a headache throughout the day. It is a great moisturiser and does its job but I’m going to have to pass on this one too. I was a little disappointed however the first 3 products are definitely up my street so I’m sure I got my money’s worth there! This lotion will too be finding a new home.
I hope you all enjoyed this month’s Glossybox review and I can’t wait to see what 2021 brings us.
See you next month,
